Laura's, the most recently discovered "lens" cave, has only been dove 3 times. A fairly small cave, it exhibits a fragility of formations not seen in other, close by caves. The stalactites and stalagmites each appear to have been chemically attacked over the years, resulting in particularly brittle and weak specimens. Many columns in this group show a horizontal fissure indicating possible tensile loading stresses of the flowstone during inflooding. The entrance pond is small, showing about 2 to 3 meters diameter in mangrove roots.
